The Swan Valley has an enduring romantic richness to it that brides and grooms simply cannot ignore. It is hard to place a finger on what exactly is so magical about the region however when you take a drive through it is hard not to fall in love with the row after row of grape vines. Along with Margaret River it is one of the cultural hotspots for wine lovers and brides and grooms alike.

For many brides and grooms planning their wedding, the Swan Valley is an automatic choice. With a plethora of venues catering for all types of weddings its easy enough to get lost just in the one place. Some of the big venues in the region include Caversham House, Mulberry on Swan and Belvoir Homestead who all host a large number of weddings each year and are known through out the wedding industry. However there are many venues in the area worth taking a serious look at.

The Swan Valley which is technically a rather small area is better discussed in the context of its surrounding areas as well. For cultural, historical and environmental elements the Swan Valley simply has it all. All within a short drive you can visit a war memorial, stop to pick up a bottle of wine and then enjoy it along the swan river at Bells Rapids.

Bells Rapids is a popular location for wedding photography assuming you are not afraid of a little nature. Featuring rushing rapids used during the Avon descent along with a rich scenery made of large trees, rolling hills and even a beautiful foot bridge crossing the might expanse of water it can easily be used as a one stop for photography.
