In one way or another, most wedding venues are pretty much the same. Peel Manor House stands out from the crowd as a distinctive english country mansion set in the quiet rural areas in Karnup about 30 minutes south of Perth. Peel Manor House is a beautiful place to have a wedding. It is also a perfect setting for wedding photos meaning you do not have to travel anywhere between the ceremony and reception with your photographer.
Peel Manor can host weddings up to 150 people in the large reception area and has 16 over sized rooms for hire including 4 luxury spa suites. The 12 aches of property means that they can expand to suite even larger weddings. Peel Manor hosted a famed wedding in 2008 in a massive marque set up at the back of the property by the lake. Peel Manor House called me in for the even to shoot some photos for the Sunday Times which was featured on page 3.

The secret sunken gardens provide a beautiful green shaded paradise during even the hottest days. Surrounded by embankments, hedges, vines and of course the amazing natural pinnacle formations, the secret sunken gardens at Peel Manor House is the most popular feature for many brides and grooms when considering their wedding photography there. However the grounds of the manor provide even more treats for those who know where to look. The lake with its gazebo hovering above it gives a picturesque view of the manor with a clear reflection forming as the night creeps in. The far back of the property with its natural Australian setting is perfectly situated for the late afternoon when the sun is low in the sky. The famous drive into the manor looks great in the car, but looks even better in your wedding photos with its beautiful curves and lines of trees.
Annaliese from Creative Elegance usually provides the Wedding Decor for the Peel Manor House. She provides custom fitted lining for all of Peel Manors quality table and chairs. You won't find any plastic chairs at the manor.
Lara from Golden Sunset Tours is a regular at the manor with her beautiful horse and carriage to bring the bride into the ceremony. The carriage can pull up directly in front of the aisle if you are getting married in the Peel Manor House gazebo.
The food at the Peel Manor House prepared by their expert Chef is some of the finest in the wedding industry. Their upper-market plates will appeal to people looking for restaurant grade food at their wedding. Lucky wedding photographers such as myself who stay through out the reception get the opportunity to try the meals at all of the venues I shoot at and Peel Manor House has served some of the most amazing food I have seen.
At night time the Peel Manor House comes alive. Outside the brilliant landscape and soft lighting from the mansion provides yet another opportunity for photography. As a deep fan of night time photography I love bringing the bride and groom out for an extra 10 minutes late at night to get some quality photos under the stars.
